The Ducks will partner with Miracles for Kids to create blankets for patients undergoing cancer treatment at Loma Linda University Cancer Center (LLUCC). On Wednesday, Sept. 2, Anaheim Ducks Staff, Power Players and Miracles for Kids volunteers will work together to make 50 Ducks-themed blankets that will be distributed by the Anaheim Ducks Power Players at LLUCC on Sept. 22. Volunteers will be sewing, cutting fabric, writing notes of encouragement and packaging the blankets for LLUCC. In addition, volunteers will use the scrap fabric from the blankets to create dog toys that will be donated to OC Animal Care. The Anaheim Ducks have supported Miracles for Kids through its annual Gala event and in-kind donations in the past.
