The Anaheim Ducks 2019 Center Ice Party: "Go Orange for Orangewood" will drop the puck on the week-long festivities on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019 from 2-6 p.m. at Lido House Newport Beach. This year, the annual Ducks fundraising event will feature an afternoon of wine tasting and mingling with your favorite Anaheim Ducks players, coaches and personnel - all in support of Orangewood Foundation and Orange County foster youth.

Continuing the celebration, Ducks fans can take part in Anaheim Ducks Day at Disney California Adventure Park on Monday, Feb. 11, 2019 as the Disneyland Resort helps in celebrating the Ducks generational milestone. Disney and Anaheim Ducks fans alike will have the opportunity to take part in fun in-park experiences that day, including hockey-themed activities, photo opportunities and more (information and event subject to change or cancellation without notice).
Next, the Ducks will throw it back to their roots for a special screening of The Mighty Ducks movie on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019 at The Yost Theater in downtown Santa Ana's Historic District. During the interactive evening, attendees will be able to meet with members of the original cast and directors as well as view original props and costumes from the legendary movies. When the Ducks face the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019 the team will host a special Tribute Night to The Mighty Ducks movie to honor the inspiration behind the club's birth as an NHL franchise.
To highlight the organization's contributions to the community over the past 25 years, Ducks Alumni will take part in a day of service on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019. The Ducks will continue to give back on Friday, Feb. 15, 2019 when the team takes on the Boston Bruins by giving fans the opportunity to designate Anaheim Ducks Foundation funds to 25 local nonprofit organizations that have been charitable partners of the franchise over the past 25 years. Special guests will also be in attendance that evening as Ducks Alumni arrive to help celebrate the third jersey in Ducks history to be raised into the rafters. The Silver Celebration week will conclude on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2019 with the jersey retirement of Ducks icon, Scott Niedermayer. Fans are encouraged to arrive at 4:15 p.m. for this historic moment.
The Walt Disney Company was the original owner and founder of the Anaheim Ducks NHL club. On Dec. 10, 1992, the National Hockey League announced that the company had been awarded a conditional expansion franchise to begin play in the 1993-94 season. The team was officially named the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim on Mar. 1, 1993, with the club's logo and colors unveiled on June 7, 1993. The Ducks original jersey became of the most popular in professional sports.
