Season Opening roster

The Ducks have announced the club's season-opening roster for the 2022-23 season. Anaheim's 23-man roster includes 13 forwards, eight defensemen and two goaltenders.

The Ducks roster consists of nine Anaheim draft selections, including six Ducks first-round selections: Mason McTavish (third overall in 2021); Jamie Drysdale (sixth overall in 2020); Trevor Zegras (ninth overall in 2019); Cam Fowler (12th overall in 2010); Max Jones (24th overall in 2016); Isac Lundestrom (23rd overall in 2018).
Anaheim's roster includes five players 22-and-younger, including McTavish (19), Drysdale (20), Zegras (21), Lundestrom (22) and Pavol Regenda (22), with an additional six players 25-and-younger: Max Comtois (23), Brett Leason (23), Simon Benoit (24), Jones (24), Troy Terry (25) and Colton White (25).

Defenseman Urho Vaakanainen has been placed on Injured Reserve. Center Sam Carrick and defenseman John Moore are designated Injured Non-Roster. Center Glenn Gawdin is listed as Non-Roster.
Anaheim opens the 2022-23 regular season this Wednesday, Oct. 12 at Honda Center against the Seattle Kraken (7 p.m. PT).
