Ducks Announce 2017 Rookie Camp Schedule and Roster

The Ducks have announced the roster for their 2017 Rookie Camp and the 2017 Prospect Showcase in San Jose with the host San Jose Sharks, Arizona Coyotes and Colorado Avalanche from September 9-12. Anaheim's Rookie Camp roster features 16 forwards, eight defensemen and three goaltenders. Information on the club's main NHL training camp will be released later this week.

Two scheduled Rookie Camp practices at THE RINKS - Anaheim ICE will be open to the public and free of charge. Open practice dates include Thursday, September 7 (1:30 p.m. PT) and Friday, September 8 (10 a.m. PT). Anaheim ICE is located at 300 W. Lincoln Ave., Anaheim, CA 92805.
There are 18 Anaheim draft selections and three first-round picks on the 27-man roster, including defenseman Jacob Larsson (27th overall in 2015), center Sam Steel (30th overall in 2016) and left wing Max Jones (24th overall in 2016). Larsson made his NHL debut with Anaheim last season, appearing in four games.
The Ducks will play three games during the 2017 Prospect Showcase beginning Saturday, September 9 vs. Arizona (7 p.m. at Solar4America Ice at San Jose). Anaheim will face San Jose on Sunday, September 10 (3 p.m. PT at SAP Center) before concluding the tournament on Tuesday, September 12 vs. Colorado (12 p.m. PT at Solar4America Ice).
