Ducks Announce 2015-16 Regular Season Schedule

by Staff Writer / Anaheim Ducks

The National Hockey League (NHL) today announced the complete regular season schedule for the 2015-16 NHL campaign. The Anaheim Ducks will open the schedule on the road for the sixth consecutive season on Saturday, Oct. 10 in San Jose (7:30 p.m. PDT). Two days later, the Ducks will host the Vancouver Canucks in their 2015-16 Home Opener on Monday, Oct. 12 at Honda Center (7 p.m. PDT). Anaheim’s Home Opener kicks off a four-game homestand, which includes contests vs. Arizona (Oct. 14), Colorado (Oct. 16) and Minnesota (Oct. 18).

2015-16 regular season schedule

The 82-game schedule will feature 41 home dates at Honda Center and visits by all 29 other NHL teams. With nine games scheduled, November will be the busiest month at Honda Center followed by January’s eight contests. The Ducks’ longest homestand is eight games from Jan. 3-20 and their longest road trip stretches seven games from Feb. 8-18. Anaheim will play 22 weekend games at Honda Center, including 12 Friday and 10 Sunday contests. The Ducks’ annual day-after-Thanksgiving game vs. the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday, Nov. 27 (1 p.m.) highlights the first of two afternoon games at Honda Center. Anaheim will also host the Calgary Flames in a 4 p.m. matinee on Sunday, Feb. 21.

Additional highlights include home dates against Eastern Conference teams such as Tampa Bay (Dec. 2), Pittsburgh (Dec. 6), Toronto (Jan. 6), Detroit (Jan. 10), Montreal (Mar. 2), Washington (Mar. 7), New York Rangers (Mar. 16) and Boston (Mar. 18). Anaheim will face its California rivals nine times this season, five against Los Angeles and four vs. San Jose. All five games with the Kings will take place in the season’s second-half beginning Sunday, Jan. 17 at Honda Center.

The Ducks will play 10 sets of back-to-back games in 2015-16, two fewer than last season.

Individual regular season tickets for all Ducks games at Honda Center will go on sale later this summer. Ducks’ 2015-16 Season Tickets and Mini Plan deposits are available starting as low as $18 per game and offer many exciting and exclusive benefits. Fans can now purchase Season Tickets and place deposits on Mini Plan ticket packages by calling 1-877-WILD-WING or visiting AnaheimDucks.com/tickets.

Anaheim’s local radio and television schedules will be released at a later date.
