The Ducks have agreed to terms with right wing Frank Vatrano on a three-year contract through the 2024-25 NHL season.

Vatrano, 28 (3/14/94), led Florida with a career-high seven game-winning goals, three overtime goals and 10 third period goals, while second on the team in shots (158), tied for second in even-strength goals (16) and tied for third in goals (18) during the 2020-21 season.
Vatrano has recorded 101-69=170 points with 178 penalty minutes (PIM) in 401 career NHL games with the New York Rangers (2021-22), Florida (2018-22) and Boston (2015-18). In 2018-19, he set career-highs in goals (24), points (39) and games played (81) with the Panthers. He also scored 7-9=16 points in 34 career Stanley Cup Playoff games.
The 5-11, 197-pound forward combined for 18-14=32 points with a +4 rating and 22 PIM in 71 games between the Rangers and Panthers in 2021-22. He helped the Rangers to the Eastern Conference Final, scoring 5-8=13 points in 20 postseason games. He ranked tied for fourth in assists and tied for fifth in goals among Rangers leaders.
Vatrano appeared in 43 career American Hockey League (AHL) games with Providence, leading the league in goals (36) in 2015-16 while earning the Willie Marshall Award as the top goal scorer in the AHL. He was named a First All-Star Team and to the All-Rookie Team after recording 36-19=55 points in 36 games. Vatrano spent two seasons at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst (2013-15), scoring 18-10=28 points in 37 NCAA contests.
A native of East Longmeadow, Mass., Vatrano has represented Team USA at two World Championships (2016 and 2019), and helped his country earn medals at the 2012 World Junior Championship (gold) and 2011 U-17 World Hockey Challenge (silver).
