ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has acquired a fourth-round draft choice in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for left wing Todd Fedoruk. The club also acquired a conditional right to exchange fifth-round selections with the Flyers in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
Fedoruk, 27 (2/13/79), has missed the last eight games with a broken cheekbone. He appeared in 10 games with Anaheim in 2006-2007, earning 0-3=3 points with 36 penalty minutes. A native of Redwater, Alta., Fedoruk has appeared in 306 career NHL games, earning 14-40=54 points with 701 penalty minutes.
The 6-2, 241-pound winger was acquired by Anaheim from Philadelphia in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2005 NHL Entry draft on July 29, 2005. He was drafted by Philadelphia in the seventh round (164th overall) of the 1997 NHL Entry Draft.
