The Rinks will be hosting Try Skating for Free Week June 11 - 18 at three facilities. Participants can register for this year's event below.

Try Skating for Free Week will offers children and adults alike the opportunity to learn to skate during a supervised session. Participants will receive instruction from The Rinks coaches on the basics of skating, as well as take part in a free Public Skating session. Additional information on The Rinks Learn to Skate program will be available to all in attendance.

Longtime Lady Duck Selected to 2018 U.S. Women's Olympic Team

Longtime Anaheim Lady Ducks forward Annie Pankowski was selected to the 2018 U.S. Women's Olympic Team on Friday by USA Hockey.

Pankowski will join 22 other players on the U.S. Women's National Team, which will train together and participate in various competitions during the build-up to the Winter Games at PyeongChang, South Korea. She becomes the first homegrown Lady Ducks player to make a U.S. Olympic team. She has represented Team USA in numerous international competitions, including World Championships the past two years and in 2013.

FivePoint Acquires Naming Rights to Spectator Arena

The Ducks announced today the 2,500 spectator arena of the NHL club's $100 million plus Great Park Ice & Sports Complex will bear the name of the local development company, FivePoint. Set to open in 2018, the 280,000-square-foot complex will offer a variety of ice sports including youth and adult hockey programs, tournaments, figure skating, curling, broomball, sled hockey, public open skating and will be used as a practice facility for the Ducks. The facility will include four sheets of ice and the main arena will feature seating for 2,500 spectators, giving the area's burgeoning high school hockey league an appropriate location to host highly attended games.

Santa Margarita HS Reaches National Championship

Santa Margarita Catholic High School of the Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League won twice on Sunday, April 2nd to advance to the National Championship (Division One Pure) on Monday, April 3rd in Cleveland, Ohio. Former Ducks forward Craig Johnson is the team's head coach, and Teemu Selanne son, Leevi, is a forward on the team.
