CHOC Night is Sunday

by Staff Writer / Anaheim Ducks

The Ducks and CHOC Children’s have partnered together for a special family night dedicated to raising funds for the hospital on Sunday when the Ducks battle the Atlanta Thrashers at 5:05 p.m.

Current and former CHOC patients will be recognized as community heroes and participate in various other activities, including zamboni rides and a visit to the Ducks locker room. In addition, fans at the game will have an opportunity to purchase limited edition Herrington CHOCO bears, each outfitted in a Ducks jersey and autographed by players. The bears will sell for $80, with all proceeds going directly to CHOC Children’s.

This annual event is a fan favorite and CHOCO Bears are expected to sell out fast. The CHOCO Bears will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, so make sure not to miss your chance to get this season’s CHOCO Bear. Player autographs are available in limited quantities.

Due to the rainy forecast on Sunday, CHOCO bears will be sold inside the arena this year. The sale will begin when doors open at 3:30 pm and will continue throughout the game until they sell out!  The CHOCO bear sale will be in the Visa B conference room on the Club Level at section 301.  All fans will be given temporary access to the Club Level for the sale.

Upon arrival, please enter the arena through the East doors, between the Anaheim Ducks Team Store and Honda Center Box Office.  The Club Level will be accessible via the stairwell at the following locations:

Plaza Level- Section 203
Club Level- Between Sections 302 and 303
Terrace Level- Section 405

Please look for the CHOC volunteers or Honda Center ushers should you have any questions.
