Calder Clears Waivers

by Staff Writer / Anaheim Ducks
Ducks forward Kyle Calder has cleared waivers, meaning he was not claimed by another NHL team before the 9 a.m. Pacific deadline this morning.

The Ducks have the option of reassigning him to a minor league team, but have not indicated yet whether they will do that.

The 30-year-old Calder had no goals and two assists in 14 games with Anaheim this season after signing a one-year contract with the team on Oct. 28. He was initially sent to Anaheim's ECHL affiliate in Bakersfield, where he scored 3-3=6 points with a +4 rating in five games with the Condors.
