Anaheim Ducks i3 Roller Hockey League Begins this Week at The Rinks Inline Facilities

The Anaheim Ducks i3 (Interscholastic Inline Initiative) Roller Hockey League will begin its sixth season this week at THE RINKS – Corona Inline, Irvine Inline and Huntington Beach Inline. The i3 Roller Hockey League has grown from 14 teams from 10 schools to 22 teams from 13 schools. The divisions are broken down into Varsity A, Varsity B, Junior Varsity A and Junior Varsity B. The divisions include the following teams:

Huntington Christian 1 (Huntington Beach)

Grace Lutheran 1 (Huntington Beach)
Carden Hall 2 (Newport Beach)
Carden Academy (Mission Viejo)
Friends Christian 3 (Yorba Linda)
St. Catherine of Siena (Laguna Beach)
St. Joachim (Costa Mesa)
Calvary Chapel (Santa Ana)
Huntington Christian 2 (Huntington Beach)
Stoneybrooke 2 (San Juan Capistrano)

Each team from the i3 Roller Hockey League will play a 10-game season that culminates in a Varsity and Junior Varsity playoff in May. Teams will receive 14 custom home/away jerseys, 10 sets of inline equipment and discounted league fees. Participating schools are members of the Ducks S.C.O.R.E. (Scholastic Curriculum of Recreation & Education) program, which was developed in 2005 with the goal of promoting and cultivating healthy living and academic excellence to all students in Southern California. Launched in February 2009, THE RINKS Development Program consists of seven local skating facilities operated by the Anaheim Ducks: four ice rinks (THE RINKS – Anaheim ICE, THE RINKS - Lakewood ICE, THE RINKS – Westminster ICE and THE RINKS –Yorba Linda ICE), as well as three inline facilities (THE RINKS – Huntington Beach Inline, THE RINKS – Irvine Inline and THE RINKS – Corona Inline).
