Zidlicky out vs. Rangers

by Eric Marin / New Jersey Devils

Marek Zidlicky (upper body) will miss Saturday's game against the Rangers at Madison Square Garden.

Zidlicky did not take part in warmups and will be replaced in the lineup by Peter Harrold. Tied with Andy Greene for the points lead among Devils defensemen (14), Zidlicky saw 18:02 of ice time in Friday's loss to Detroit.

He had played in all 30 games entering Saturday.

The Devils also made a change at forward with Reid Boucher skating warmups on the top line with Travis Zajac and Jaromir Jagr. It will be the third NHL game for Boucher, who debuted on Wednesday.

Dainius Zubrus moved to the second line with Patrik Elias and Damien Brunner. The third line was Michael Ryder-Adam Henrique-Steve Bernier, while Andrei Loktionov centered Tim Sestito and Cam Janssen on the fourth line.

Martin Brodeur gets the start in goal for the Devils, who are looking to improve to 3-0 against the Rangers this season.

New Jersey is looking to snap a three-game winless skid after being held to 11 shots against the Red Wings on Friday.
