In Sunday night's late game, there was a stunning upset in a game that featured three Devils prospects.
Between the Czech Republic and Russia, it was the Czech team that beat out the Russian squad that features Shakir Mukhamadullin and Arseni Gritsyuk.
Devils prospect Jaromir Pytlik is on the Czech team, however, he was not dressed for the game.
The Czech Republic pulled off a 2-0 shutout over Russia to register their first win of the tournament. They are 1-1-0 to date, scoring three goals and conceding seven.
The Russian's are also 1-1-0 and have both scored and conceded five goals.
