Swiss aptain Nico Hischier scored the game-winning goal while fellow Devil Jonas Siegenthaler also scored in a 6-3 victory against Canada at Helsinki Ice Hall Saturday.
Hischier had two points total (1G-1A) and four shots. Siegenthaler also notched two shots and a plus-1 in 21:11 minutes of ice time.
Canadian defenseman Ryan Graves tallied an assist, a plus-3 and 3 shots in 11:51 minutes. Damon Severson logged 26:06 minutes.
Next: Switzerland plays France on Sunday. Canada faces Denmark on Monday.

UNITED STATES 3, SWEDEN 2 OT
United States: Luke Hughes, Jon Gillies
Adam Gaudette scored twice, including in overtime, and posted three points to give the United States a 3-2 win against Sweden at Nokia Arena Saturday.
Devils defensive prospect Luke Hughes was a plus-1 in 19:48 minutes of ice time.

Slovakia: Tomas Tatar
Slovakia captain Tomas Tatar notched two assists in his country's 3-1 win against Italy at Helsinki Ice Hall Saturday.
Tatar also had two shots and a plus-2 in 19:10 minutes of ice time. Draft eligible forward Juraj Slafkovsky posted two assists, 2 shots and a plus-2 in 21:57 minutes.
