Over the course of the weekend, the IIHF World Hockey Championships continued and once again, a member of the New Jersey Devils was a major contributor for his national team.

Team USA took on Norway on Saturday and pulled out a dominant 9-3 victory. Devils goaltender Keith Kinkaid was once again in net, where he remains undefeated through six games at the tournament. Kinkaid played the first two periods against stopping 15 of 16 shots, while Hurricanes netminder Scott Darling played the third period. Kinkaid has a .942 save percentage, ranked second best at the tournament thus far.
As for assistant coach Geoff Ward's Team Germany, they pulled out a 3-2 overtime victory against Finland.
Devils defensemen Mirco Mueller, who represents Switzerland, was less fortunate. The Swiss fell to Sweden 5-3.
On Monday's schedule, the United States take on the high-flying Finns, Switzerland faces-off against France while Germany looks to upset Canada.
