Who The Devils is Blake Coleman?

It's National Pickle Day, so it's only fitting we spotlight Blake Coleman for this week's Who The Devils Is He

We felt that because it's National Pickle Day, there was no better choice than Blake Coleman for this week's Who The Devils Is He?

Coleman was drafted to New Jersey in 2011 and joined the Devils in the 2015 offseason after graduating from Miami (Ohio) University.

After spending one season in the AHL, and splitting the 2016-17 season between the AHL and NHL, he earned a full-time spot on the roster in New Jersey during the 2017-18 season. Although he's mostly known for his love of pickles and pickle juice, here's a few other fun facts you might not have known about this Devils forward.

The Texas native started playing hockey at the age of three and grew up rooting for the Stars. He played baseball, soccer, basketball and lacrosse as a kid but now, he likes to golf in his time away from the rink. His favorite superhero is Superman but if there's anything he couldn't live without, it's his family.

You might catch Coleman jamming out to his favorite band, Florida Georgia Line, or watching one of his top movie picks, Happy Gilmore. His favorite actor is Matt LeBlanc, who was a main character in his favorite TV show, Friends. And his favorite holiday to celebrate? Christmas.

We were kind of hoping he would've put Halloween, just so we could drop this picture in (see - we found a way to do it anyway).

If Coleman wasn't a hockey player, he'd own his own business as he went to school for entrepreneurship, which is fitting since he announced the launch of his Pickles Pals program prior to the start of this season. The program will support the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club of Newark Ironbound (BGCN) for the betterment of Newark's youth. He also created his own merchandise and pickle juice which will raise funds to support charities throughout Newark.
