had a goal and an assist in Sweden's 10-1 rout of Latvia at the 2009 World Junior Championship Monday in Ottawa.
Tedenby, the Devils' first pick, 24th overall, in the 2008 Entry Draft, picked up his first point of the tournament with a power play tally 2:13 into the contest. He added an assist with 6:18 left in the opening frame as Sweden scored five straight goals for a 5-1 lead after 20 minutes.
Other Devils prospects participating in this year's tournament are Mike Hoeffel
(USA) and Patrice Cormier (Canada). Each player had recorded an assist entering Tuesday's action.
