Devils wrap-up season-series with Panthers tonight at Prudential Center

The Devils (16-17-8) officially kick off the second half of the season tonight when they host the Florida Panthers (17-16-8) at Prudential Center. Here's what you need to know:

1) This game concludes the regular season series with the Panthers. The Devils lost the previous two games in overtime, but are 6-1-0 against them at home the last three seasons and are 10-5-3 at home so far this season.

2) Cory Schneider will get the start in goal again tonight. He's stopped 94 of the last 100 shots he's faced over the past four games and has two shutouts in his last six starts.

3) Andy Greene, who saw his 350-game ironman streak snapped when he didn't dress on Friday against Toronto, will miss his third consecutive game. He did skate on his own this morning and, while a timetable has not been set for his return, he hopes to join the team on their upcoming four-game road trip.
