The Devils are back on the ice tonight hosting the Tampa Bay Lightning, currently the top team in the league. New Jersey, looking to build off their big win over the rival New York Ranges on Saturday, have played one less game than the Lightning and sit two points behind the league leaders.

Coach John Hynes decided to give his players the morning off, with just an optional skate at Prudential Center.

The players on the ice gave indication to what the lineup will look like. Ben Lovejoy, Dalton Prout and Stefan Noesen all skated with Cory Schneider and Keith Kinkaid as well as the assistant coaches. With Lovejoy, Prout and Noesen confirmed as out versus the Lightning, the Devils' lines will be as follows:
Hall-Hischier-StaffordJohansson-Henrique-PalmieriBratt-Zacha-HayesWood-Coleman-Gibbons
Greene-SeversonMoore-SantiniMueller-Butcher
Schneider/Kinkaid
Hynes was also asked about the progress of forward Brian Boyle, who was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia before the season started. Hynes had no update other than to say that Boyle continues to make progress in the right direction and should skate later this week on his own.
Boyle took to Twitter Monday, posting what appeared to be an optimistic tweet.
