NAME: Tony Poerio

AGE: 66

HOMETOWN: Woodbridge

CAREER: I am retired, but I used to be a teacher and administrator.

I HAVE BEEN A DEVILS FAN SINCE: 1982, when they first came to New Jersey. I didn’t come to many games back then, but I’ve always been a hockey fan, going back to the late ‘50s in the Original Six era.

BEFORE EVERY DEVILS GAME, I MAKE SURE: I wear one of my jerseys, and I switch it up if the team loses at a game I’m at. If they win tonight, I’ll wear the same jersey to the next game. Tonight I’m wearing one of my older ones. It’s white, with a 25th anniversary patch, and Adam Henrique’s signature.

YOU WOULD BE SURPRISED TO KNOW THAT: I love Rock and Roll, and attended Bruce Springsteen’s first concert here. I had tickets to his show earlier this year, but my daughter was getting an award at her college, so I had to sell them.

MY FAVORITE CURRENT PLAYER IS: Adam Henrique. I like his skill and the fact that he doesn’t quit on a play.

IF I COULD ASK HIM ONE THING: Would you marry my daughter? She loves you.

MY FAVORITE MARTY MOMENT IS: It comes from the 1995 Stanley Cup Finals. I was there at the Meadowlands for Games 3 and 4, and when they clinched the Cup in ’95, it was on my birthday (June 24, 1995). In terms of winning the Cup, you can’t win without good goaltending.

MY FAVORITE PIECE OF DEVILS MEMORABILIA IS: I have a puck and jersey signed by Broduer. I got the pair of them signed at fan events.

I AM #RELENTLESS BECAUSE: My wife and family know when I’m coming to a game. I become intense, for lack of a better word, on the day of a game.
