I HAVE BEEN A SEASON TICKET MEMBER FOR: 20 years, since right after the team won its first Stanley Cup.
I HAVE BEEN A DEVILS FAN SINCE: A few years before becoming a season ticket member. I used to take my son and his friends a few times a year. When the team was going to the Stanley Cup Final, I remember being on the phone for a long time and got tickets to all the Stanley Cup games. We were there when they won the Cup in the last row, way up at Continental Arena. It was such a fantastic time I signed up to become a season ticket member. We eventually went to Dallas for the game where the Devils won their second Cup, and the team won its third Cup on my son’s birthday.
BEFORE EVERY DEVILS GAME, I MAKE SURE: I always try to get to Prudential Center 30 minutes before the puck drops. I also always need to get the pins for the commemorative nights.
YOU WOULD BE SURPRISED TO KNOW THAT: I won a car here in “Score-O.” In 2009, I made it during a game, and at the end of the year, they had a shoot off and I won the car.
MY FAVORITE CURRENT PLAYER IS: Patrik Elias. He’s such a good guy and has got a big heart. He’s a great player.
IF I COULD ASK HIM ONE THING: What did you do on your two days with the Stanley Cup following the championships
MY FAVORITE MARTY MOMENT IS: April 17, 1997, when he scored his first goal. He jumped up and down and it was the most adorable sight to see.
THE BEST PART OF MB30 WEEKEND: Having Marty back in New Jersey.
MY FAVORITE PIECE OF DEVILS MEMORABILIA IS: Marty autographed my son’s jersey, on the day the team announced his jersey retirement, last year. It’s definitely special.
I AM #RELENTLESS BECAUSE: The Devils feel like family.
