#RELENTLESS Fan of the Game: Norman Rein

Norman Rein has been a Devils fan since the team's inception in 1982. In his office hangs a framed picture of the 2000 Stanley Cup Championship team, which he received for his 50th birthday.

CAREER: I am a student tour operator.

I HAVE BEEN A SEASON TICKET MEMBER FOR: 33 years, since 1982.

I HAVE BEEN A DEVILS FAN SINCE: The franchise moved to New Jersey. One of the most significant early memories for me with the team was watching them in the 1988 playoffs. It was incredibly exciting to watch them make the playoffs and go deep that season.

BEFORE EVERY DEVILS GAME, I MAKE SURE: To wear a jersey. Today I chose my Scott Niedermayer one.

YOU WOULD BE SURPRISED TO KNOW THAT:  I have a 16-month-old son.

MY FAVORITE CURRENT PLAYER IS: Kyle Palmieri

IF I COULD ASK HIM ONE THING: I’d ask him how he first got involved in hockey.

MY FAVORITE MARTY MOMENT IS: Watching him score a goal in the playoffs against the Montreal Canadiens in 1997.

MY FAVORITE PIECE OF DEVILS MEMORABILIA IS: I have a framed picture of the 2000 Stanley Cup Championship team. I received it as a 50th birthday present and it hangs in my office.

MY HALLOWEEN TRADITION: I put my dog in a costume. She wears a clown collar.

I AM #RELENTLESS BECAUSE: I never give up. I’m always rooting for the Devils.
