NAME: Michelle Borghese

AGE: 24

SECTION: 3

HOMETOWN: Middletown

CAREER: I’m a physical education teacher

I HAVE BEEN A SEASON TICKET MEMBER FOR: 4 years

I HAVE BEEN A DEVILS FAN SINCE: 2004. Watching Martin Brodeur play at such a high level was amazing. Watching him was motivational. Later, my mom gave me four tickets as a birthday gift in high school, and after riding the train with my friends and no parents for the first time, I attended my first game.

BEFORE EVERY DEVILS GAME, I MAKE SURE: I come to the arena right after work, always wearing either my Devils boots, or custom Nike sneakers I made. The sneakers are red and black, and on the tongue it says “NJ” on one, and “Devils” on the other.

YOU WOULD BE SURPRISED TO KNOW THAT: I played soccer from when I was 4-years-old through 2013.

MY FAVORITE CURRENT PLAYER IS: Adam Henrique

IF I COULD ASK HIM ONE THING: Would you please teach me how to play hockey?

MY FAVORITE MARTY MOMENT IS: Sitting 18 rows behind him and his net, I saw Brodeur make an amazing kicking save to block a shot.

MY FAVORITE PIECE OF DEVILS MEMORABILIA IS: My signed Adam Henrique stick. My boyfriend got it for me for Christmas last year.

I FIGHT FOR: Family. My grandma, aunt and mom have had skin cancer, so I fight for them.

I AM #RELENTLESS BECAUSE: My family taught me to always stand up for myself. If I really want something, I go and get it. I don’t hesitate.
