RELEASE: Devils Announce 2019 Prospects Challenge Roster
The Prospects Challenge will take place from September 6 through 9 in Buffalo

The New Jersey Devils today announced the roster for the Prospects Challenge from Sept. 6 to 9 at Harborcenter in Buffalo. New Jersey will join the Boston Bruins, Buffalo Sabres and Pittsburgh Penguins in a round-robin challenge featuring prospects from each team.
The Devils roster includes 15 forwards, nine defensemen and three goaltenders. It features three of the Devils last four first-round picks- 2019 NHL Draft #1 overall, Jack Hughes, 2018 #17 overall Ty Smith, and 2016 #12 overall Michael McLeod. It also includes five players with NHL experience and 2017 second (Jesper Boqvist) and third (Fabian Zetterlund) round picks and 2016 second (Nathan Bastian) and third (Joey Anderson) round selections.
