Devils' 2012 second-round pick Damon Severson posted a season-high three points (3a) on Saturday, helping to lead Kelowna (WHL) to a 7-2 win over Prince George. With 14 points (3g-11a), Severson is tied for the most by a Rockets defenseman.

• '12 first rounder Stefan Matteau notched a goal and an assist for Blainville-Boisbriand (QMJHL) on Sunday, picking up his first points of December in an 8-1 win over Val-d'Or. Matteau, who was a plus-3 in the game, now has 15 goals on the season, which is two behind the club lead.

• '11 fourth rounder Reid Boucher continues to light the lamp in Sarnia (OHL), where his 22 goals are tied for the club lead. He struck again Sunday in the Sting's 4-1 win over Sault Ste. Marie. Click here (at 1:00) to see it.

• '12 fourth rounder Ben Thomson, who needed 26 games to score his first three goals of the season, has now scored three in his last four contests for Kitchener (OHL). His goals streak hit three games on Friday. Click here (at 0:57) to see it.

• '11 fifth rounder Blake Pietila stayed on his offensive roll Friday by scoring his ninth of the year and fifth in seven games for Michigan Tech (WCHA).
