DEVILS VS. HURRICANES

Tonight is the third of four games between New Jersey and Carolina in 2016-17. The teams will meet for their season-series finale Mar. 25 at Prudential Center. 

New Jersey is 5-3-0 at PNC Arena and is 9-5-1 against the Hurricanes overall since the 2013-14 season.

The Devils defeated the Hurricanes, 4-1, Nov. 6 at PNC Arena. Michael Cammalleri recorded a natural hat trick, which was his first hat-trick as a Devil. In their second meeting, New Jersey defeated Carolina, 3-2 SO, when P.A. Parenteau scored one goal and then had the game-decider in the shootout.

The Devils are 4-4-2 vs. the Metropolitan Division and are 9-9-5 facing Eastern Conference opponents this season. Tonight closes the eighth of 18 back-to-back sets for the team this season. New Jersey is 3-3-2 in first games and 3-2-2 in second games of back-to-back matches.

Cammalleri has 5g-4ga-9pts over his last seven games against Carolina. 

Cory Schneider and Keith Kinkaid are a combined 9-4-1 all-time vs. the Hurricanes.
