DEVILS VS. FLYERS
Tonight is the second of five games between the Devils and Flyers in 2016-17. New Jersey shut out Philadelphia, 4-0, on Dec. 22 at Prudential Center. Cory Schneider stopped 16 shots for his 13th shutout as a Devil. Four different Devils scored in the contest. Adam Henrique and P.A. Parenteau led the squad with one goal and one assist each. The teams will square-off again Mar. 16 at in New Jersey.
Tonight closes out the Devils' 11th of 18 back-to-back sets. New Jersey is 3-5-3 in first games and is 5-2-3 in second games of back-to-backs. The club is 5-4-2 vs. the Metropolitan Division division and is 10-12-5 against Eastern Conference opponents.
The Devils are 6-1-1 at Wells Fargo Center and are 12-3-3 overall against Philadelphia since the 2012-13 season.
