Tonight is the first of two meetings between the Devils and Jets in 2016-17. The clubs will play their season-series finale Mar. 14 at Prudential Center. New Jersey is 2-0-1 vs. the Central Division and is 4-3-1 vs. Western Conference opponents this season.
New Jersey was 1-1-0 vs. Winnipeg in 2015-16. Jacob Josefson scored the game-winning goal in their last meeting, Jan. 23, at MTS Centre. The Devils are 1-2-0 at MTS Centre and are 2-4-0 vs. the Jets since the 2013-14 season.
Michael Cammalleri has six points (2g-4a) in his last five games vs. Winnipeg. Cory Schneider is 3-3-0 in his career vs. the Jets.
