Pregame Notes: 11/26 Devils at Penguins

Tonight is the first of five games between the Devils and Penguins this season. The teams will meet again Dec. 23 at PPG Paints Arena.

The Devils are 2-0-0 vs. the Metropolitan Division this season and are 6-3-3 vs. the Eastern Conference. New Jersey is 3-6-2 away from Prudential Center in 2016-17.

Tonight the Devils close-out their fourth of 18 sets of back to back games. New Jersey is 1-1-2 in first games and is 3-0-0 in second games.

New Jersey and Pittsburgh split their season series in 2015-16, with each club going 2-2-0. The Devils and Penguins also were even with eight goals scored for each club. New Jersey is 1-5-0 at PPG Paints Arena and is 6-6-1 overall vs. Pittsburgh since the 2013-14 season.

Reid Boucher, Michael Cammalleri, Adam Henrique, Kyle Palmieri, and Damon Severson each had three points vs. Pittsburgh last year.
