Pre-game Notes: 11/23 Devils vs. Maple Leafs

Michael Cammalleri (personal) and Yohann Auvitu (upper body) will return to the lineup tonight when the puck drops between the New Jersey Devils and Toronto Maple Leafs.

Tonight is the first of three meetings between the Devils and Maple Leafs this season. The clubs meet again Jan. 6 at Prudential Center before playing their season-series finale Mar. 23 at Air Canada Centre.

New Jersey was 1-0-2 vs. Toronto in 2015-16, but outscored the Leafs, 9-7 overall, due to a 5-1 victory in New Jersey's season finale Apr. 9 at Prudential Center. The Devils are 4-0-0 at home against Toronto and 5-0-2 vs. the Maple Leafs since the 2013-14 season. The last time the Devils lost in regulation against Toronto was Apr. 15, 2013 (0-2).

The Devils are 3-3-2 vs. the Atlantic Division this season and are 2-0-0 at home when facing an Atlantic Division opponent.

Devante Smith-Pelly has two goals over his last two games vs. the Maple Leafs. Kyle Palmieri has four points over his last four games against Toronto (3g-1a).

At 5-0-3, Cory Schneider has not lost a game in regulation against Toronto in his career.
