It has been a wild and crazy ride from the moment the 2019-20 NHL season started. Since that opening day in October 2019, the Devils have been transformed by a series of decisions and moves that have reshaped the franchise towards the future.

From the acquisition of Nikita Gusev, the emergence of Mackenzie Blackwood, big trades that brought in brand new young talent into the fold, so much has happened to the Devils franchise.

In this week's episode of the Speak of the Devils Podcast, join Matt Loughlin, Amanda Stein, and Catherine Bogart as they share their favorite moments of the 2019-20 season and the off-season moves since the season was canceled. Looking back, the three share their opinions on the biggest moments, from a change in management, trading away a big-name player, and an interim head coach getting the best out of a young team.

This is the Year in Review episode but also one where the hosts look forward to the bright future. What can be expected of a team under Lindy Ruff, what will Nikita Gusev's second season look like, and Nico Hischier's emergence as a young veteran on this team, just four years into his career.

Join the Speak of the Devils Podcast for all the insights and predictions as we open the 2020-21 NHL season.
