Myles Bell skates morning session on Day 2

by Staff Writer / New Jersey Devils

Bell scored 42 goals last season with Kelowna, leading them to the WHL regular-season crown.

Myles Bell took part in the morning session at Rookie Camp on Tuesday, one day after the Devils announced he would be eased into the week following knee surgery last season.

Bell, 20, led Kelowna (WHL) with 42 goals, 35 assists for 77 points in 69 games last season. His 42 goals ranked eighth in the league, helping the Rockets to the WHL’s regular-season title.

The Calgary native was the Devils’ sixth-round choice, 160th overall, in last year’s Draft.

Defenseman Curtis Gedig (resting) and forward Brandon Shea (sore) both skated Tuesday after sitting out Monday's scrimmage.
