LW Kory Nagy taken in fifth round

Nagy – The Devils selected Kory Nagy with their fifth-round pick, 142nd overall, in the 2008 Entry Draft.

Nagy, a 5-11, 196-lb. left winger, spent the last three seasons with Oshawa (OHL). He had his best offensive campaign in 2007-08, tallying five goals and 12 assists for 17 points in 57 games.

Nagy, who turns 18 on October 12, proved an effective part of the Generals' postseason run, adding six goals and three assists in 15 contests.

The native of Walsingham, Ontario, was unranked by Central Scouting.
