Library Champion Zach Parise to read to N.J. students

Zach Parise, a New Jersey Library Champion, will read to students at the New Jersey state library in Trenton on Tuesday, May 25.

The Devils' leading scorer last season with 38 goals and 82 points, Parise will receive a proclamation for being a New Jersey State Library Champion from New Jersey First Lady Mary Pat Christie.

Parise will read to 40 students from Katzenback School for the Deaf in Trenton, with help from an American Sign Language interpreter. Also attending will be Devils' Chairman and Managing Partner Jeff Vanderbeek.

The Library Champion program promotes the importance of reading to New Jersey students.
