Devils prospects continued to make their mark on the CHL playoffs in Tuesday's conference finals action.

Ryan Kujawinski scored at 10:28 of overtime to give the North Bay Battalion a 2-1 win over the Oshawa Generals in Game 3 of their OHL Eastern Conference Final. The Battalion took a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven which continues Wednesday in North Bay.

It was the sixth goal of the playoffs and second overtime winner for the Devils’ draft pick, who was selected in the third round, 73rd overall, in 2013. The center has struck twice on the power play, twice shorthanded and twice at even strength this postseason.

Kujawinski’s other extra-session tally came in double overtime in Game 4 of the Battalion’s conference semifinal meeting with the Barrie Colts. He’s fifth on the club with nine points in 12 playoff games with a plus-7 rating.

Out west, John Quenneville had the lone goal for the Brandon Wheat Kings in their 2-1 overtime loss to the Calgary Hitmen in Game 3 of the WHL Eastern Conference Final.

The Wheat Kings hold a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven set. Game 4 is Wednesday in Calgary.

Quenneville, the Devils’ 2014 first-round pick, opened the scoring at 4:23 of the second period. Calgary’s Adam Tambellini scored twice, tying the game in the third period and winning it in OT.

Quenneville has six points in the series (3g-3a) and leads Brandon with 15 points (7g-8a) and a plus-9 rating in the postseason. He was named the WHL Player of the Week after posting a career-high five points (2g-3a) in Game 1 on Friday.
