Kinkaid Starts Second Consecutive Game Tonight in PHI

1/21 Devils at Flyers: Three Things to Know

by Julie Robenhymer /

The Devils look to bounce back from last night's loss tonight against Philadelphia at Wells Fargo Center. Here's what you need to know:

1) Keith Kinkaid gets back-to-back starts as Cory Schneider is still under the weather, but well enough to backup. Blake Coleman has been reassigned to make room for Vern Fiddler who has been activated from Injured Reserve. Beau Bennett is out with a lower body injury. Devante Smith-Pelly is a healthy scratch. Luke Gazdic and Sergey Kalinin will jump into the lineup.

2) The Flyers are coming off a CBA-mandated five day break so the Devils will plan to establish their game right off the drop off the puck. Throw in the fact Philly wasn't playing so well heading into the break, a rivalry that's known to be more physical than not and the Devils chasing them in the standings...tonight's game has the potential to get very interesting, quickly.

3) Although the Flyers have a winning record (22-18-6) they also have a -16 goal differential allowing an average of just over 3 goals a game, while scoring just under three.

You can watch tonight's game on MSG+2 or listen to it on The One Jersey Network. Puck drops at 7 p.m.
