The Devils will host the Washington Capitals tonight at Prudential Center. Here's what you need to know:
1) After not allowing a goal through forty minutes in relief of Cory Schneider on Tuesday, Keith Kinkaid will get the start in goal tonight for the Devils. In the five games he's played in the month of January, he has a 1.39 goals against average and .948 save percentage allowing six goals on 110 shots.

2) Beau Bennett was placed on Injured Reserve yesterday to make room for the Devils newest addition, Stefan Noesen, who was claimed off waivers yesterday from Anaheim and will play on the third line tonight with Jacob Josefson and Pavel Zacha. Sergey Kalinin and Luke Gazdic are healthy scratches, Devante Smith-Pelly is in. No changes on defense.
3) The Devils look to get back in the win column not only to climb the Eastern Conference Standings where they are presently in a six-way tie for 11th place and five points out of a playoff spot. The club hopes to end the five-game home losing streak they are on.
You can watch tonight's game on MSG or listen to it on WFAN or The One Jersey Network. Puck drops at 7 p.m.
