by Staff Writer / New Jersey Devils
The 2010 USA Hockey Tier II Bantam National Tournament has come to the Ice Vault!

This year’s 48-team pool features four divisions of 12 teams from around the United States. Nearly every state will be represented, marking a tournament with an extraordinary cross-section of hockey youth from all over the country.

The Devils are excited to be taking part in the five-day event. Devils Chairman and Managing Partner Jeff Vanderbeek and Co-Owner Mike Gilfillan, and Hall of Famer Scott Stevens will speak at the Opening Ceremonies, which begin tonight at 8:30 p.m. The Devils Dancers, Street Team and mascot, NJ Devil, will also be in attendance this week, representing “Jersey’s Team.”

The Opening Ceremony will get underway with a parade of all 48 teams, including two from New Jersey. Gates will open at 7:45 p.m.

The Devils take great pride in their grassroots involvement with youth hockey in the Garden State. The organization has hosted the NJSIAA High School Hockey Championships for the last 13 seasons, including the past three at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.

The Ice Vault is located in Wayne, NJ. For more info, visit or call 973-628-1500.
