Game Preview: Devils at Sharks

New Jersey concludes their California road trip tonight with a 10:30PM puck drop in San Jose

Tonight's game is the second and final contest between New Jersey and San Jose, and the second game of the Devils fifth of 14 sets back-to-back contests. New Jersey is 0-2-2 in second games so far. The Devils are 4-2-3 against Western Conference teams this season.

The Devils defeated the Sharks on October 14th in a 3-2 home victory. Leading the way was Taylor Hall (2A) and Kyle Palmieri (2G) in scoring with two points. Andy Greene (1A), Mirco Mueller (1A), Damon Severson (1A) and Sami Vatanen (1A) finished with one point.

Brent Burns (1A), Logan Couture (1A), Tomas Hertl (1A), Evander Kane (1A), Timo Meier (1G), and Joe Pavelski (1G) all led San Jose in points the first matchup.

Keith Kinkaid started in net against the Sharks in the first matchup, allowing two goals on 39 shots faced (.948%).

Martin Jones allowed three goals, and fell to 5-2-0 against New Jersey in his career.

New Jersey is 1-2-0 against San Jose at SAP Center since the 2015-16 season.
