Tonight marks the third and final contest between New Jersey and Florida in the 2018-19 regular season and final contest of the regular season.
The Devils lead the season series against the Panthers 1-0-1 (3PTS). New Jersey defeated Florida 3-2 on Oct. 27 at Prudential Center, but would then drop the next head-to-head matchup on Nov. 26 at BB&T Center 4-3 in OT.

Nico Hischier (2A) and Sami Vatanen (2A) lead the club in helpers with two apiece. Taylor Hall (1G-1A) and Kyle Palmieri (1G-1A) have one goal and one assist in the two games played. Jonathan Huberdeau (1G-2A) and Evgenii Dadonov (1G-2A) have notched three points against New Jersey so far this season.
Cory Schneider is 5-6-2 against Florida in his career, allowing 32 goals, posting a 2.35 GAA. James Reimer is 2-0-0 against the Devils this season, allowing six goals on 58 shots against. In his career, Reimer posts a 7-5-2 record against the Devils allowing 34 goals against in 798 minutes of play.
The Devils are 2-5-3 against the Panthers since the 2015-16 season, and 0-2-3 at BB&T Center (last win at BB&T: Oct. 11, 2014).
