Game Preview: Devils at Kings

The Devils travel to California to take on Los Angeles for a 10:30PM puck drop tonight

Tonight's game is the first of two contests between New Jersey and Los Angeles. The Devils are 3-2-2 against Western Conference teams this season.

In the 2017-18 regular season, the Devils defeated the Kings in their season series, 2-0-0 (4 points). Brian Gibbons (1G-3A) led New Jersey in scoring with four points. Taylor Hall (2G) and Brian Boyle (1G-1A) finished behind Gibbons with two points.

Cory Schneider started in net against the Kings in the first matchup, allowing one goal on 17 shots faced (.941%).

Keith Kinkaid started in net for the second contest, recording a shutout, stopping all 38 shots faced.

New Jersey and Los Angeles' second and final matchup will be on February 5th at Prudential Center.
