New Jersey fell 5-1 to the Lightning Monday night at Prudential Center

The New Jersey Devils just haven't been able to solve the Tampa Bay Lightning this season, no matter where they've played. Facing Tampa for the second time in nine days, the Devils once again found themselves on the wrong end of the score line. New Jersey lost their only home matchup with Tampa Bay 5-1 on Monday night.

Butcher returns for tonight's matchup against Tampa Bay

After missing Monday's game, Will Butcher will draw back into the lineup when the Devils host the Lightning tonight at 7PM

Defenseman Will Butcher is aware the New Jersey Devils need more from him. On Saturday, Butcher sat out as a healthy scratch against Winnipeg. He will return to the lineup Monday night when the Tampa Bay Lightning roll into town. Butcher and the Devils coaching staff said the game off was about a mental refresh and watching the game from a different perspective.

New Jersey fell 4-3 to the Jets Saturday night at Prudential Center

Jesper Bratt got the Devils within a goal of the Jets with just over four minutes to play, and Taylor Hall, on a mad scramble in the Winnipeg Jets crease, scored the game tying 3-3 goal on Saturday night in a wild final five minutes at Prudential Center. Bratt and Hall's goals came 2:23 apart to send the game into overtime.
