Ford Lincoln Mercury Named Automotive Partner of Prudential Center

Cornerstone Sponsorship to Include Team Properties, On-Site Parking Deck
NEWARK, NJ – Prudential Center and the Tri-State Ford and Lincoln Mercury Dealers have announced a deal naming Ford Lincoln Mercury as the exclusive automotive partner of Prudential Center in Newark. As part of the deal, Ford Lincoln Mercury receives entitlement rights to the on-site parking deck and interior Luxury Suite Levels, as well as signage for all Prudential Center sports and entertainment events and use of team marks and logos for the New Jersey Devils and New Jersey Ironmen. Prudential Center, managed by AEG, is the first major sports and entertainment venue in the nation’s top media market in over 25 years and will open on October 25 with Bon Jovi performing the first of 10 concerts.

As one of the cornerstone partners of Prudential Center, Ford Lincoln Mercury will have significant branding opportunities on the suite level, in addition to a vehicle display area on the concourse level.
The long-term partnership, supported locally by the Tri-State Ford and Lincoln Mercury dealers, includes opportunities to display Ford Lincoln Mercury products in the arena, parking areas and on the arena floor. There will also be signage on dasherboards and in-ice for Devils games. In addition, Ford Lincoln Mercury will engage customers at the community level, with promotions at local dealerships on an ongoing basis, including ticket giveaways, vehicle giveaways at games and vehicle launches.

Prudential Center will be the home of the New Jersey Devils, Seton Hall men’s basketball and the New Jersey Ironmen of the MISL, among others. It will showcase 76 luxury suites, 2,330 club seats, and an array of amenities and conveniences for fans. Prudential Center will seat 17,500 people for soccer games, 17,625 for hockey games, 18,500 for basketball games and 19,500 for concerts.
