Food in Vancouver

by Anthony Oliva / New Jersey Devils
If there's one thing I'm homesick for, its a good slice of pizza.  There's a pizzeria on every corner in Yaletown, the lively district of Vancouver in which I'm staying, and they all share one thing in common: none of them are good.

The sushi is out of this world over here, though, and apparently so popular that it merits three sushi houses adjacent to each other across the street from my apartment.

I also discovered the most amazing hot dog ever at a street cart called the Japan Dog.  I spotted a couple girls eating them on a bench, and needed to get my own.  Other tourists flocked to me like sea gulls in Sandy Hook, asking where I had found it, just as I had done a few minutes earlier.
