Monday morning opened with some good news for the Devils with the return to the ice of COVID protocol players Nico Hischier, Ryan Graves and Jesper Boqvist and on Monday afternoon the news got better as the NHL postponed Tuesday's game against the Penguins.
Devils Executive VP and General Manager Tom Fitzgerald said that the postponement was something the team had been asking about for several days, not just because of COVID -- though there were testing issues again today -- so much as a combination of the COVID issues from the past week, Utica's COVID situation and a flu-like illness sweeping the locker room.
