The Devils (18-18-9) are in St. Paul tonight to take on the Minnesota Wild (28-9-5). Here's what you need to know:
1) No lineup changes tonight as head coach John Hynes wants to reward solid performances from the past two games. This lineup has not only won two in a row, but played with pace and structure and executed the game plan to their potential, and he hopes to see that continue tonight. While Andy Greene and Vern Fiddler are both skating with the team, they're not quite ready to go and with the team playing so well and two days off before they play Montreal on Friday, there's no need to rush their return. There is no new information to report on the status of John Moore.
2) Taylor Hall has scored in the past two games and is tied with Travis Zajac for the team lead with 28 points.
3) The Wild are one of the hottest teams in the league right now as they sit atop the Western Conference with 61 points and a league-leading +46 goal differential. Devan Dubnyk is having a Vezina-caliber season and all four lines are contributing offensively. This game will be a big challenge for the Devils in all areas of the ice, but one they are eager to tackle and see how they stack up against one of the best teams in the league.
You can watch tonight's game on MSG+ or you can listen to it on WFAN and The One Jersey Network. Puck drops at 8 p.m.
