After honoring former owner Dr. John J. McMullen as the first member of the franchise's Ring of Honor earlier in the month, the New Jersey Devils will pay tribute to the McMullen era with their annual Retro Night on Thursday, January 26. Prudential Center doors open at 5:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m. puck drop against the Washington Capitals. Tickets are available at NewJerseyDevils.com/tickets and fans can follow @NJDevils for special Retro Night offers.
The Devils will celebrate Retro Night by wearing their red, green and white throwback jerseys and matching pants. The uniform dates back to the team's arrival in New Jersey in 1982 and was worn through the 1991-92 NHL season. The jersey introduced the world to what is now the iconic "NJ" logo.

The first 9,000 fans through the doors Thursday night will receive a pair of Retro Night socks courtesy of MSG+, and the retro theme will continue throughout the game with special games and entertainment. Following the final horn, fans are invited to head to Prudential Center's Goal Bar for an 80s- and 90s-themed dance party with DJ Yoshi and a retro best-dressed contest.
Earlier this week, the Devils celebrated the 30th anniversary of the "334 Club," the group of 334 fans that made it to the January 22, 1987 Devils-Flames game during a historic blizzard, with the launch of the 334 Club Collection in collaboration with Starter and Newark's Packer Shoes. Select gear from the collection is now available for purchase at Devils Den team store locations at Prudential Center.
Devils Members at the Retro Night game will have the opportunity to pick up a limited edition white satin jacket. Fans who attended the "334 Club" game in 1987 or have a story from that night 30 years ago are encouraged to visit NewJerseyDevils.com/334 and share their experience.
