Newark, NJ -The New Jersey Devils' six-game preseason schedule will consist of three home games and three road matches. Current NHL dates has rookies reporting to Jersey for Devils Training Camp on Wednesday, September 15 with veterans reporting the following week on Wednesday, September 22.
The Devils open the 2021-22 preseason slate one week following the full start of training camp, on Wednesday, Sept. 29 at the Washington Capitals (7:00 p.m.).
The club will follow that up with a back-to-back set: Fri., Oct. 1 vs. NY Rangers (7:00 p.m.) at
Prudential Center
and Sat., Oct. 2 at the NY Islanders (Bridgeport, CT, 2:00 p.m).

New Jersey will finish up with three games in four nights, Mon., Oct. 4 vs. Washington (7:00 p.m.), Wed., Oct. 6 at NY Rangers (7:00 p.m.), and the final pre-season tilt on Thu., Oct. 7 vs. NY Islanders (7:00 p.m.).
The NHL Regular Season commences on Tuesday, Oct. 12. New Jersey's season/home opener will be Friday, October 15 vs. Chicago at Prudential Center (7:00 p.m.).
