The Devils have recalled forwards Nick Palmieri and Stephane Veilleux from Albany (AHL). They visit Buffalo tonight to take on the Sabres.

Palmieri, 22, returns to the big club after being assigned to the Devils' top affiliate on Jan. 16. He has five goals, six assists for 11 points in 25 games with the A-Devils this season. The 6-3, 220-lb., right wing had compiled four goals, three assists for seven points in 26 NHL games this year.

This is the third recall for Palmieri, whose last appearance with New Jersey was Jan. 14 at Winnipeg.

Veilleux, 30, is looking to make his Devils debut. He's tied for fourth on Albany's scoring list with 22 points (11g-11a) in 40 games.

A veteran with 438 games of NHL experience, Veilleux played in Europe last season. The 6-1, 200-lb., left wing made his last NHL appearance with Tampa Bay on April 11, 2010 at Florida. He signed a two-way deal with the Devils as a free agent on July 28.

Palmieri has been assigned No. 10, Veilleux No. 11.
