Cory Schneider will get a second consecutive start in net tonight as the New Jersey Devils host the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 4 of their first-round Stanley Cup Playoffs series. Coach John Hynes will stick with the lineup that pulled out a clutch 5-2 victory in Game 3.

"I thought they stuck well together," Hynes said. "The guys that had roles [played their roles] and I think it was a game where we liked the way the guys played so they deserve to get another chance today."
"He came in and he played well," Hynes said of Schneider in Game 3. "We felt like our team collectively played well, we felt that Cory was a big reason why, so we'll give him another opportunity tonight."
The Devils trail the Lightning 2-1 in the series and hope to even things up on Wednesday. A position that veteran forward Brian Boyle is pleased to see his team in, after dropping the first two games of the series.

"A lot of guys hadn't played in the playoffs," Boyle said. "So, they've experienced two losses on the road, and now we have a home win. It just reinforces what we've been talking about all season. It's important to get us back somewhat into the series. 2-1 is a little easier than being down 3-0."
Game 3 was a physical affair with 132 penalty minutes handed out to both teams, with momentum that is expected to be carried over. Toeing the line and not giving the Lightning too many opportunities on the power play will be a main focus.
"I think [the physical play at the end of Game 3] carries over a little bit," Sami Vatanen said. "I think everyone has to stay aware, and away from the penalty box. It's going to help this team if we can play five-on-five. We can't take any stupid penalties and be ready."
Here is the projected lineup for Game 3:
Hall-Hischier-Palmieri
Johansson-Zacha-Maroon
Coleman-Zajac-Noesen
Wood-Boyle-Stafford
Greene-Vatanen
Moore-Severson
Butcher-Lovejoy
Schneider
